How much does synthetic turf cost, and what does the rebate pay?

Turf is priced per square foot, and the base work matters as much as the turf itself. The Washington County Water Conservancy District pays up to $3 per square foot of grass replaced with water efficient landscaping for projects finished by June 1, 2027. Does Washington County pay me to remove grass?

Yes. The Water Conservancy District pays up to $3 per square foot through June 1, 2027, if you apply and get approved before removing the grass.

Does synthetic turf get too hot in summer?

All turf gets warm in direct sun. Lighter colors, cooling infill and a little shade help. Many clients rinse it before kids play on hot afternoons.
